Poznań
Poznań is a city in western Poland, located on the banks of the Warta River. It is the fifth most populous city in Poland, with over half a million residents. The city is a center for trade, industry, and education.
The most notable landmarks of Poznań include the Cathedral Island, the Old Market Square, the Royal Castle, and numerous churches. In the 10th century, the first cathedral in Poland was established here, and its patron saint is Saint Peter the Apostle.

In the center of the colorful Old Town stands the Renaissance-style town hall. The streets of Poznań resemble illustrations from the pages of a fairy tale book. The Imperial Castle in Poznań, once the residence of the last German Emperor and King of Prussia, Wilhelm II, adds grandeur and a medieval spirit to the city.
