TECHNICAL SCHOOLS AND LYCEUMS

Citizens of Ukraine who have completed grades 9-11 of secondary school but are under 18 years of age can enroll in a state Polish technical school or lyceum for free. The duration of study in a lyceum is 4 years, in a technical school - 5 years. After that, you can enroll in a university or get a job in your specialty in Poland. Students only pay for accommodation and meals (part of the fee is compensated by the state).

KARTA POLAKA

The Polish Education Act also provides for the possibility of free education at public universities in Poland for foreigners who were able to confirm their Polish origin by passing an interview and receiving a Pole Card.

COMPETITION AND HIGH LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE

This program is funded by the European Fund ETF - European Training Foundation. Every student who has completed 11 grades of secondary school in Ukraine or a student of a Ukrainian university has the right to enter a Polish university on a general basis, having passed a competitive selection and testing. Admission through competitive selection is a good option to get free education for that category of citizens who are not of Polish origin, but know the Polish language at level B2 and above and have good grades.

Important! Free education in Poland for holders of the 'KARTA POLAKA' or on a competitive basis is conducted exclusively in Polish. Education in English is only in PAID groups.

Not all higher education institutions in Poland can provide free education for citizens of Ukraine. But the number of such institutions is growing every year.

Future applicants who want to try their hand at and pass the competition for free education in Poland must submit an application for registration from March 10 to June 5, it is best to do this as early as possible (the approximate date of the exams is the end of June).

In order for you to be admitted to the exams, you must meet the following requirements:

- A high overall score in the certificate of complete general secondary education and an average score in the external examinations, which must be at least 10.

- Knowledge of the Polish language at a level of at least B2.

The Polish language proficiency test will be held at the university of your choice and consists of 3 levels of testing (oral interview, listening comprehension and writing). If you have a certificate of knowledge of the Polish language (level B2+), the candidate is exempted from taking the test. The test for obtaining the certificate can be taken in Ukraine and Poland annually. Our consultant can provide a list of exam locations.

In addition to the language test, each applicant will take 2 exams depending on the chosen profile:

- for technical specialties - exams in mathematics and physics or chemistry. Exams in mathematics, physics or chemistry last 120 minutes (2 academic hours) and consist of 6 blocks of tasks;

- for humanitarian areas, these are usually history and geography.

Free education in Poland is a great opportunity to get a European education. In order to enroll in free education for any of the above options, you need to prepare in advance, so do not delay.

PolFox provides support and assistance throughout the entire admission process, starting from registering an application to a university and ending with arrival at the place and settling in a dormitory.
